“Give it to me!”
“Get your own this is mine!”
“But it’s the last one!” the parents shouted back and forth as Axel sat in the closet covering his ears. They fought all the time. “Fine let’s get some more then!” When they left Axel went to get out of the small closet but couldn’t. He fought against the door but it was no use for a three year old. He lay down and sleep, until the door busted open and his red eyed father pulled him out but the neck. Axel shouted and fought against him. He was just bounded with tape and shoved into a car.
When the car stopped he was dragged by the hair into a building. “H…ere,” he tossed the boy to the floor, “That the last of…. Pleassse, can I have it now?” the father begged. The man in the suit looked at Axel. He smirked and snapped. One of the goons tossed a small pack of powered at the father. “T…t…thank you!!” and he was gone.
“Well now, I own you now, what shall I do with you?” he smiled.

Axel was drug out of his small cell by the hair. The cell was actually a medium dog cage that just fit the 5 year old boy. His dust covered body was bound and tossed into a dark car and was driven to an abandoned building. Being drug up the stepped he was forced to the floor by the boss man. “Everyone take note!” he ordered.
Axel looked under the rail to down below. His parents were facing each other red eyes and spitting. He watched as the boss man tossed a bag down and they went at each other intent to kill. Axel eyes went wide as words pasted across his eyes and his mind eye and the horrible noise filled his ears. “Make it stop!” he shouted in pain and couldn’t shut his mouth.
The surveyors stopped and so did his yelling. “I said take note! This kid is nothing!” When he started the yells again the boss threw him into the middle of his fighting parents. His father killed the wife with a knife he had in his pocket and kick the boy in the head to make him stop. It didn’t work. The man ran the knife down Axel’s face and as the blood rushed out his eyes rolled back as his father beat him.
Years pasted and eventually his father died in a fight, as if he cared. The boss man has wondered about his did experiment and found out what his problem. With a twisted smile he used it to his advantage. He was brought out of his cage one day, hoping to have his weekly meal. He was wrong. They went at him making him yell in pain, and only the beating shut him up. He passed out and when he woke again there was a tray of food in front of him and he couldn’t move to eat it. All he could do was look at it as he wished to eat it. They laughed and let him bleed in peace.
Hours later he woke again and the food was gone but he could move. He made his was out of the room and wondered around till he found a way out. He was caught feet away from the door and tossed to the ground and beaten to an inch of his life. But some how one day he was out and he ran as the men chased him. He ran like crazy avoiding everything possible.
He came across and dark building and ran inside. He could not help but vomit but it was saliva and blood. Covering his mouth so he could catch his breath without being heard. There was a scrapping noise and he looked up and saw a boy head toward the door. He pushed off the wall and grabbed him and hid them both for a couple hours so the men didn’t find them. He let the boy go and they talked for a while and decided to leave together to find safety. He like his newly found disabled friend Ricker.
Yards from a safe house Alex passed out and Ricker went the rest of the way for help. He woke in a bed, Axel never been in a before and found it odd. The ladies there told him to rest since he was just skin and bone and Ricker told them how he couldn’t hold down a meal. Ricker wasn’t used to people since he was left in a building alone, but Axel on the other hand didn’t trust people after watching people fight to the death over what they want. After week to months of liquid diet he could once again hold solid food.
“Hey,” Ricker walked up behind him, as he looked out over the water, with the new brace Axel made him weeks before. “What happened back there?” he sat beside his friend, “I’ve never seen you act like that before, Jace.”
Jace just looked at the water as he spoke, “I’m just not a people person. I liked it better when it was just us.”
“But the others are really nice.”
“I know, it’s just…” he looked down knees to his chest, “I don’t know.”
Ricker hugged him and smiled, “Its okay, you still got me at your side.”
“Thanks.”
“Now let get you something to eat, you are so skinny!!” Ricker pulled Jace to his feet and ran back to the house. That was when Ricker noticed how creepy Jace’s eyes were.
Since then Jace had his classes after everyone else did outside away from everyone. A day came that men came to the house and found Axel. Upon seeing them, Jace jumped over his friend Maian and took off out the back door. Everyone was confused as the men chased him. On catching him he was dragged to the boss man in town and a deal was made. “I’ll let you live free, but from here on out I WILL expect no less then 1,000 dollars a week or end up like you’re parent.” With little choice he agreed. “No one must know either.” He knocked Axel out and he was dumped in the river by the house that months later was closed down.
Everyone went their own ways in their own groups, and Jace left with Ricker and Maian. Maian, after leaving do to a family divorce took up driving for a job and Ricker was an artist and whatever else charity work he wanted. Jace on the other hand was bounded and worked for his life depended on it. Ricker got a shed and lived in that, with furniture from the junk yard, with Maian when she wasn’t away driving all night. Jace did whatever he could to have work near his friends and far enough away from the boss man.
The more he got older the more he was demanded to pay. His friends had a ruff life but they weren’t digging in trashcans once a week to eat. He had to work extra to get money for himself and must let anyone find out. Jace didn’t want to pay more then he had to already. Very often he would get sick off of nothing. Leaving him weak for work and open for a beating.
Every now and again the men found out he would slack of and put him though his nightmare. And other times because they could. He hated how he was living but there was no where he could go without being in pain. Jace normally avoids places like school, police station, libraries, and so one, he liked his quiet. He noticed that he acts a bit odd and out of place sometime but he can never be too carefully. He just wants to be left alone.
I don’t want the Axel. Can’t you understand they…
